BCS Rankings Week 13: Complete Standings, Twitter Reaction and More
Talk about your all-time backfires.
In Week 12 of the college football season, No. 2 Oklahoma State was supposed to handily defeat unranked Iowa State, No. 4 Oregon was supposed to outscore Matt Barkley's USC Trojans, and No. 5 Oklahoma was supposed to have a good enough defense to at least contain Baylor star quarterback Robert Griffin III.
Instead, Oklahoma State, Oregon and Oklahoma all lost (Oklahoma on a last-second strike from Griffin to Terrance Williams), and now, the BCS rankings are a complete mess.
The latest AP poll has LSU, Alabama and Arkansas as the top three teams before the BCS rankings are released tonight on ESPN, but who knows if the BCS rankings will reflect that?
So much for Alabama's loss to LSU knocking them out of the title game picture, huh?
