Oklahoma vs. Baylor Video: Watch Robert Griffin III Toss Game-Winner
Forget Baylor's Robert Griffin III throwing for a school-record 479 yards against No. 5 Oklahoma on Saturday.
Forget his four touchdowns.
Forget his 72 yards rushing.
You only had to look at one throw from Griffin to realize how special a pro prospect he is: a 34-yard tight spiral across the field that dropped into receiver Terrance Williams' outstretched hands in the corner of the end zone.
That throw, which few prospects can do, was the game-winner against Oklahoma on Saturday, propelling the Bears to a 45-38 victory with eight seconds remaining.
If you needed any more proof that Griffin is the complete package, that was it, folks.
A lot of people have focused on Griffin's dual-threat ability this season, and for good reason. He's electric as a runner, rushing for 478 yards and five touchdowns headed into Saturday's matchup.
But Griffin is proving he's actually more dangerous in the pocket than on the flat, and that is truly a frightening thing.
Headed into Saturday's game, Griffin had passed for over 3,000 yards, completing 74 percent of his passes. He had also thrown for 29 touchdowns to just five interceptions.
And he's done this against some big opponents, including Kansas State, Texas A&M and Oklahoma State.
Griffin didn't need that performance against Oklahoma on Saturday to solidify his status as an elite NFL prospect, but it certainly didn't hurt.
There may be only one quarterback in all of college football who is a better prospect than Griffin right now, and that's Andrew Luck.
