Shaq Uncut: Why Shaquille O'Neal's Decision to Publish a Book Was a Great Idea

Shaquille O’Neal is one of the most entertaining figures in the history of professional sports. It would only be right if he made a book. Well, with the creation of Shaq Uncut: My Story, we all have the opportunity to dig into his life.

What a brilliant idea.

It’s Shaquille O’Neal for crying out loud, who wouldn’t want to read his book? You could ask somebody who hasn’t read a book since junior high and they would probably want to dig into it.

If I had the opportunity to read one book, I honestly think it would be O’Neal’s. You never know what the "Big Aristotle" will do next. You don’t know exactly what he will put into a book.

We have seen him do crazy things on the sidelines, during interviews and on the court, how on Earth could one judge what this man will say on the record?

It’s pure gold.

Shaq’s career has been eventful to say the least. From his early days in Orlando to his final days with the Boston Celtics, Shaq’s career has been one of many surprises.

I would want the inside scoop with Kobe Bryant, Phil Jackson, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, LeBron James and many more. Also, we would learn more about his divorce, a story that few know details about.

Hopefully (haven’t read it yet) we would get a little scope to what it has been like throughout the course of his career. From what I have seen from others and what I would think “uncut” would be, O’Neal’s book will leave nothing behind.

If there is one book you are thinking about buying from a sport's perspective, it has to be Shaq Uncut. If we have learned anything from O’Neal’s career, it is that he will fail to disappoint.
