Arsenal FC: Thierry Henry Training with Club Can Be a Massive Positive
Is anyone else giddy? Maybe it's just the fact that Thierry Henry is—and always will be—my favorite player. Upon hearing he was back in London training with Arsenal, I got excited.
Obviously, I do not believe there is any chance of him returning to the club on loan or otherwise but there are a couple reasons to get excited. Well, maybe it all just rolls into one actually.
Having Henry around training with the team—for however long it happens—will be a benefit to both the team and individual players for this season and beyond.

I am not necessarily saying Henry's presence will bring a trophy or suddenly turn certain players into consistent stars but it definitely can't hurt. There is no question that simply having a player of that quality and experience training with the squad will help the team.
Amidst a run that has righted the ship in recent weeks, you can be sure that Arsene Wenger is happy to have the likes of Henry mingling with his players.
Ju Young Park recently spoke about how much training at a top-level club like Arsenal and with players like Robin van Persie has helped him. Can you imagine how some of these players feel with Henry around?
Picturing Henry walking around the grounds and mingling with the current crop can only help the team. A bit of advice to Theo Walcott here, some encouragement to Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain and Ryo Miyaichi there and a pat on the back and a wink for Robin van Persie.
Of course, any piece of advice Henry gives can't supersede something Wenger says but I doubt any such occurrence. Hopefully, it will be like having another coach around the club for however long it continues.
In any case, a legend is back at home and maybe—just maybe—he can help ignite an even greater future for this team.
