Jerry Sandusky: Ex-Penn State Coordinator Is Biggest Villain in Sports History

Donald WoodNov 9, 2011

There have been many heinous acts over the course of history in the sports world, but what Jerry Sandusky did has to make him the most hated person is sports history.

While murder is one of the worst things that can ever happen, child molestation is sinister in a whole different sense of the word.

Former defensive coordinator and alleged child molester Jerry Sandusky ran The Second Mile, a program for trouble youths, since 1977.

That is where he scouted his victims.

With all of the possible victims coming out now that Sandusky has been exposed, the true extent of the destruction this man caused will known to people.

There could be hundreds of victims, many of whom could have misinterpreted Sandusky’s sexual nature for kindness in their naive youth.

The whole situation gets my blood boiling, and there is no way I can hate anyone in sports more than I hate Jerry Sandusky right now.

Of all the vile people and things done over the years, taking advantage of children in a way that will ruin them is one of the most tragic things to ever hear, but the fact that he set up a foundation and camp to scout out the boys he would try to molest blows my mind.

Everyone is looking for a scapegoat here, whether it Mike McQueary or Joe Paterno, but the truth is that the blame belongs first and foremost on Jerry Sandusky.

May he rot in hell.
