On Mondays we will try to take a look at the weekend that was in sports, focusing on some of the top stories and some things other people may not be discussing.

First up, Lead College Football Writer Dan Rubenstein joins the show to talk about LSU and Alabama, and why anyone would want a rematch of the defensive struggle we watched this weekend to be the national title game. We talk about the BCS, the host of undefeated teams that may not get a chance to play for the title and redefine "east coast bias" to be "southeast bias" as everything in college football is looked at with an SEC hue.

We talk about what title game we'd most like to see and then discuss how asinine it is that we're trying to figure out which teams will make the national title game based on which game is the most attractive for viewers, mostly because it's impossible to figure out which teams are the most deserved.

We also talk about crazy uniforms and discuss Notre Dame's super shiny helmets! Does Notre Dame need that for recruiting? Is being Notre Dame suddenly not enough anymore?

At the 25-minute mark, we introduce Lead NBA Writer Bethlehem Shoals, who spits hot fire toward the owners. You can feel the venom in his voice, and you know that anguish and disdain is echoed in the minds of not just other NBA writers, but NBA fans. Get it done already, people.

It's hard for NBA scribes right now because there's nothing to write about other than the lockout, but the average American sports fan doesn't want to read about the lockout. Do they want to listen to us talk about how nobody wants to read about the lockout? Come listen and find out what we think about your apathy toward the league.

As always, leave your thoughts in the comments. Thanks for listening.
