BCS Rankings Week 11: Georgia and More Teams Building Resume at Right Time

The season is winding down and the rankings are becoming more and more important. This is the time to be mounting wins and building the resume for bowl bids.

Teams like Georgia are making cases to get put into the spotlight come bowl season.

Here are three teams that are coming on or staying very strong at the perfect time.

Georgia

The Georgia Bulldogs lost their first two games of the season and since then have won out.

With the performances that they have been putting together, they are making the case that they are legitimate contenders.

If Georgia can pass the last two tests they have on the season—Auburn and Georgia Tech—they will have proven the quality of their side.

Houston

Houston does not have strength of schedule on their side, but they are undefeated and their wins are very convincing.

Will Houston get a chance to prove themselves?

Houston will finish their season undefeated and be the winner of the Conference USA. They will get a good bowl bid, but it more than likely will not spotlight them like it should.

Arkansas

Arkansas is a squad that will finish the season with two losses on the season.

Their resume will still be strong because of the fact that the losses will be to Alabama and (likely) LSU in the final game of the season.

The Razorbacks made a strong case for themselves by beating the South Carolina Gamecocks this past Saturday.
