Week 10 College Football Predictions: LSU vs. Alabama and More Bold Picks
Everybody wants to know who is going to win this weekend's epic matchup between the BCS-ranked No. 1 LSU Tigers and No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide.
The simple fact of the matter is that, sadly, we won't know who wins until we actually watch the game, but that being said, that doesn't mean we can't try to predict it.
This game has been heralded as potentially the game of the century, and there is no doubt that these are the two best teams in college football.
This isn't the only big game on the schedule, believe it or not, even though it may seem otherwise.
Here are some bold predictions for some of the weekend's biggest games:
No. 1 LSU vs. No. 2 Alabama
Alabama has the home field advantage, so that's going to make things tough for the Tigers. That being said, as good as the Tide's defense is, I think LSU has a more complete squad. Offensively they are balanced, and Jordan Jefferson has found a way to add that electric spark they've been needing.
It's going to be close, but LSU is going to show us why they are the best team in the nation.
LSU: 24 Alabama: 21
No. 14 Kansas State vs. No. 3 Oklahoma State
If you think LSU-Alabama is going to be good, you're right, but this game is going to be great as well. Kansas State and Oklahoma State are going to feature a ton of offense, but after watching the Wildcats lose at the hands of the Sooners last weekend, this is undoubtedly the Cowboys' game.
The Oklahoma State Cowboys are national championship contenders, in my opinion.
Kansas State: 30 Oklahoma State: 45
No. 9 South Carolina vs. No. 7 Arkansas
To be frank, I believe that both of these teams are exceptionally overrated. If the Razorbacks weren't playing a depleted Gamecocks team without Marcus Lattimore, I would have picked the upset.
That being said, South Carolina isn't put together enough to win this game on the road.
