LSU vs. Alabama: Giants Closer Brian Wilson's Epic Pick of LSU Will Be Correct

T.J. McaloonNov 1, 2011

There will be plenty of talking heads in the media who are going to throw their two cents in about who is going to win the epic game of LSU vs. Alabama. They will make their points and they will have their reasons as to why they think either ‘Bama or LSU will win.

But, no person will have as great of reasons as to why the LSU Tigers will win on Saturday night in Tuscaloosa as former LSU Tiger and current San Francisco Giants closer Brian Wilson

Wilson has taken to his Twitter feed to release some tweets about Saturday’s game as to why he thinks that LSU will dominate the Crimson Tide.

It makes you wonder what reason No. 1 through 38 are, as we only know 3.14159 and 38.

Maybe reason No. 4 is because Les Miles' hat has secret powers.

Reason No. 11 could be that real men eat grass.

Reason No. 34 just may be because a tiger is quicker in the jungle than an elephant.

Reason No. 18 could be because if you eat a XXL Chalupa at a Taco Bell in Baton Rouge, your life will be made even more epic and sweet, as if you would have a XXL Chalupa in a Tuscaloosa Taco Bell.

But let’s take a look at why Wilson is predicting a win for the Tigers. Early in Wilson’s career he was noticed by an LSU scout, who gave the young pitcher a scholarship to pitch for the Tigers baseball team.

There, Wilson became the No. 2 starter on the baseball team, as in 51 games at LSU, he had 18 wins, 10 losses and five saves in his time in college.

While at LSU, he grew to hate the Crimson Tide, playing many games at Alabama, while watching his Tigers battle the Tide on the football field.

Who knows what is going to happen on Saturday night? No one is going to be right or wrong when giving their predictions as to why either LSU or Alabama will win.

However, it is nice and refreshing to see someone like Wilson, take a new approach at the game that will determine who will win the SEC West division and quite possibly the BCS national championship.
