BCS Rankings: Oklahoma State and More Top 25 Teams That Will Be Big Winners

Oklahoma State is going to handle its business and end up being the big winner this week as it will become No. 2 after LSU and Alabama beat each other's brains out.

The Cowboys aren't the only team that will be a big winner this week.

No. 3 Oklahoma State

Oklahoma State has a big game with No. 14 Kansas State. The Cowboys should be able to handle this one fairly easily.

Kansas State's pass defense was exposed in a huge way last week. It was torched by Oklahoma as Landry Jones threw for more than 500 yards.

That pass defense is going to be exploited in a big way again. Oklahoma State will wind up No. 2 as a result and be in the driver's seat for a spot in the national championship game.

No. 4 Stanford

Stanford will rebound in a big way against a really bad Oregon State team. Stanford has shown all year that it can quickly and easily dispatch of lesser teams and it will do just that here.

This win will vault Stanford to No. 3 in the rankings.

That will leave Stanford in excellent shape. The Cardinal have a tough schedule to finish out the year, but if they can handle that they will creep up right behind the Cowboys and be there to pass them if Oklahoma State loses.

No. 8 Oregon

The higher Stanford climbs in the polls the better for Oregon. The Ducks will battle the Cardinal in two weeks, and if they can beat them, they should vault to the top of the one loss teams.

Oregon will also be hoping for LSU to beat Alabama so its lone loss on the season will be to the team that is No. 1.

The Ducks play a solid Washington team this week, but their high-powered offense should be able to easily handle the Huskies' poor defense.
