Case Keenum's 9-Touchdown Game and the Best QB Performances of All Time
The quarterback is the most glorified position in all of sports, and we are often amazed by the accomplishments of the players that play the position.
Last night we witnessed history when Houston quarterback Case Keenum threw for nine touchdowns and set a FBS record for most touchdown tosses in a career.
It is definitely worth acknowledging, but was his performance the best of all time in college football?
Here are a few of the top quarterback performances of all time.

Tim Tebow vs Cincinnati
1 of 5Stats: 31/35, 482 passing yards, three passing touchdowns, 51 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown
Tebow is arguably the greatest college quarterback of all time, and there are several games you could have picked from.
The reason I'm going with this one is because it was his his last game as a Gator, and I believe it was his most complete game. He completed 88 percent of his passes—the highest of his career—and had four total touchdowns.
He also helped the Gators win the Sugar Bowl against a solid Cincinnati Bearcat team, 51-24.
Case Keenum vs Rice
2 of 5Stats: 24/37, 534 passing yards and nine passing touchdowns
Maybe this performance will give him some respect going into the NFL draft this year.
Keenum now holds the FBS record for most touchdown passes in a career with 139, and still has a few games left in his career.
Sure, these stats came against a Rice defense that is Charles Barkley terrible, but you don't see these numbers everyday.
Keenum has some of the best stats college football has ever seen, and it wouldn't be right not to have him on this list somewhere.
Denard Robinson vs Notre Dame
3 of 5Stats: 24/40, 244 passing yards, one passing touchdown, 258 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns
Whether you think Denard Robinson will do well in the next level or not, you can't deny the performance he put on against Notre Dame last season.
Michigan had a total of 532 total yards and Robinson was responsible for 502 of them. He broke off the longest run in Michigan history—an 87-yard touchdown run you can see on your left.
He also had the game-winning touchdown run with only 27 seconds remaining on the clock as the Wolverines won 28-24.
David Klingler vs Eastern Washington
4 of 5Stats: 11 touchdown passes
You can say it was against a Division 1-AA school all you want, but it's a college football record that still stands to this day in any division.
Klingler threw 11 touchdown passes as the Cougars destroyed Eastern Washington by a score of 84-21. He didn't have only one good game, either.
Klinger holds several NCAA records, and even if you take away all 11 touchdown passes in this game, he'll still have the most in 1990.
Quarterbacks may come close to this record, but I'm not sure it will ever be beaten.
Vince Young vs USC
5 of 5Stats: 30/40, 267 passing yards, 200 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns
This has to be No.1 overall because it came in the National Championship, and it doesn't get much bigger than that.
Young accounted for 467 total yards on offense and led the Longhorns back when they were down 38-26 with only 6:42 remaining. He ended up rushing for two touchdowns in that time, including an eight-yard touchdown run on fourth down to give Texas the victory.
He ended up winning the MVP of the Rose Bowl and gave the Longhorns their first National Championship since 1970.
USC head coach Pete Carrol said after the game that, "that was the best [performance] I've seen by one guy." (via SI.com).
