College Football Picks Week 9: BCS Top 25 Teams That Will Lose Saturday
There may only be two games between ranked opponents this week but there are a bunch of teams playing tough unranked opponents. The upsets are going to happen this week and the following BCS poll will probably look nothing like the one we have today.
Out of all of those games, here are the three most likely ranked teams to lose this weekend.
Michigan State
1 of 3The Spartans are fresh off an upset win at home against Wisconsin but on the road, this team is entirely different. They lost by 18 to Notre Dame and nearly lost to Ohio State 10-7.
The biggest problem for Nebraska this season has been stopping mobile quarterbacks but that shouldn’t be an issue with Kirk Cousins. If the defensive line can hold against the inconsistent Edwin Baker and Le’Veon Bell, Nebraska should definitely win this game.
Kansas State
2 of 3Kansas State has been one of the most pleasant surprises of the season but they will be facing a very angry Oklahoma team.
The Sooners have all the talent in the world while the Wildcats have edged out victories over their four toughest opponents by a combined 19 points. Even though this game is being played in Manhattan, this should be a big Oklahoma win.
South Carolina
3 of 3The Gamecocks edged out a two point win over 3-4 Mississippi State last week but they lost one of their best players in Marcus Lattimore in the process.
Tennessee will be a raucous environment and South Carolina hasn’t performed as well on the road this season. If the Vols can run the ball like they did in the first half against Alabama, this is an upset ready to happen.
