Felix Jones Injury: Updates on Cowboys Star's Week 8 Status and Fantasy Value
Felix Jones watched DeMarco Murray torch the St. Louis Rams for well over 200 yards on Sunday, and the Dallas Cowboys running back couldn't do anything about it because of an injured ankle.
The emergence of Murray doesn't bode well for Jones, but it all depends on how long he is out. His status for Week 8 will be monitored all week long, and the Cowboys would love to have him back on the field.
After all, two solid running backs is better than one. Stay tuned as we update you with the latest news involving Felix Jones and his chances of playing in Week 8.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Update: Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 2:30 p.m. EDT by Mike Chiari
It seems as though Dallas Cowboys running back Felix Jones will likely miss at least one more game while nursing a high ankle sprain. Jones was the only Cowboys' player who didn't hit the practice field today, which is a good indication he won't be able to play on Sunday night, according to ESPN's Tim MacMahon.
Seeing as rookie backup running back DeMarco Murray set the Cowboys' single-game rushing record in his first career start last week, I highly doubt the Cowboys will rush Jones back. Even when he does return, the starting job may not be his any longer.
Update: Monday, Oct. 24 at 2:55 p.m. ET
There is no new news regarding Jones at this time, but as the Cowboys hit the practice field this week and prepare for the Philadelphia Eagles, we will share the updates.
Since there isn't any news right now, this crazy stat from ESPN's Tim MacMahon will certainly make Felix Jones' fantasy owners cringe.
If Jones is healthy enough to play on Sunday, I would certainly start him. Murray was brilliant against a depleted Rams team, but he isn't going to be that productive all the time.
The Cowboys are playing the Eagles, which means they will have a lot of success on the ground. If Jones is able to play, he will get a solid number of carries, and he'll make the most of them because he simply has to.
Murray stepped his game up and has given Jones a real challenge for the starting role, which is why Jones must now deliver on the field. If he's healthy I believe he will, but for that news we'll have to wait until the Cowboys practice a few times.
