Manchester United's Top 5 Goals so Far This Season

0 of 5

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has dramatically lowered the age of the side with the regular inclusion of David de Gea, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Tom Cleverley and Danny Welbeck, while the likes of Ryan Giggs, Michael Carrick and Dimitar Berbatov have been left on the bench.

But United, who have often been slow starters in the past, have immediately hit top form in their opening fixtures as they aim for a record-breaking 20th top-flight title.

Here is a look at United's Top 5 goals so far this season.

Rooney vs Arsenal (Old Trafford)

1 of 5

When Wayne Rooney can do this, Cristiano who?

Young vs Arsenal (Old Trafford)

2 of 5

This incredible Ashley Young effort from just inside the box was never going to be saved. Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny was merely going through the motions.

    United won the match 8-2.

Nani vs Manchester City (Wembley)

3 of 5

This intricately worked goal symbolizes, in just a few seconds, the football philosophy at Manchester United. I've got to also tip my hat to Nani for having the composure to make the most of the opportunity.

Hernandez vs Liverpool

4 of 5

This weaving run by Javier Hernandez left Liverpool's Martin Skrtel hypnotized. The Mexican again displayed what a quality finisher he is.

Nani vs Manchester City (Wembley)

5 of 5

He went past Clichy, then Vincent Kompany, then Joe Hart and then he scored. Amazing.
