NFL Power Rankings: Philadelphia Eagles and Disappointing Teams Who Won't Move
Six weeks into the NFL season is more than enough time to label a team a disappointment. Fans and analysts always freak out when a team loses one game, but now that we have a handful of games to evaluate, it is easier to judge them.
Without a doubt, the most disappointing team in the league this season has been the Philadelphia Eagles. Their problems are vast, so it's not like you can just pinpoint one area where they could improve in order to turn things around.
They defeated Washington in Week 6, but their problems were still evident in that game. They led 20-0 just before halftime and held on to win 20-13. If Rex Grossman knew which players to throw the ball to, the Eagles could easily have lost the game.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The only player on the roster who has been playing well this season is running back LeSean McCoy, and Andy Reid finally designed a game plan to get him more carries and it paid off in the end.
The Eagles are not the only team with problems, though. Here are two more teams that have no hope of joining the elite teams at the top of the power rankings.
No. 18 Atlanta Falcons (3-3)
The Super Bowl dreams that the Falcons had before the season have faded away quickly. The offense is a mess right now, with Julio Jones and Roddy White battling injuries at different points this season, and the offensive line not giving Matt Ryan time to throw the ball.
The addition of Ray Edwards to the defensive line has not provided the spark that the team was hoping for—he has just two sacks—and the secondary still has all kinds of problems in coverage, allowing nearly 283 yards per game.
This week, they have to go to Detroit and cover Calvin Johnson, who was kept out of the end zone for the first time this season last week against San Francisco.
Things are going to get worse in Atlanta before they get better. The team will have plenty of time to think about how to get better, because there is no way they will be more than an 8-8 team this season.
No. 19 New York Jets (3-3)
There might not be a more boring team to watch in the NFL right now than the New York Jets. They have no rhythm on offense, Mark Sanchez looks like he is regressing and the rushing attack, which is averaging just 81 yards per game though six weeks, has been a disappointment.
The defense, which used to be so dominant, has been fallible for the first time in the Rex Ryan era, allowing 132 yards rushing per game.
They got a win on Monday against Miami, but they are far from being back to the level they were at last season. With San Diego coming to town this week, they have to find something deep inside if they want to stay in the playoff race.
