David Garrard's Injury Limits Oakland Raiders Search for QB
The Oakland Raiders lost starting QB Jason Campbell for the rest the 2011 season, but their search for a new one is dwindling after recent news shows David Garrard will need surgery.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported early in the day that the Raiders had interest in Garrard, who was released by the Jacksonville Jaguars before the season began.
However, a few hours later, FOX Sports' Jay Glazer tweeted that Garrard contacted him with troubling news.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Garrard was thought to maybe join the Miami Dolphins when they lost Chad Henne for the year, but he turned them down.
He would have been a good fit for Oakland, but this shocking injury definitely leaves the Raiders in a bind. They're currently 4-2 on the year and in second place in the AFC West. Oakland was looking promising this season, and after the loss of team owner Al Davis, you could tell there was a spark in this team.
Campbell broke his collarbone in the 24-17 win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, which set off tons of speculation as to whom the Raiders would bring in.
Despite the bad news about Garrard, the Raiders still have options for a starting quarterback. They could rely on Kyle Boller, who replaced Campbell on Sunday. Boller threw for 100 yards and completed 8-of-14 passes.
If the Raiders decide Boller won't cut it, they could look to give rookie Terrelle Pyror a short, pick up Josh McCown or look to make a trade with the Denver Broncos for Kyle Orton.
Brett Favre, anyone? I don't think so, but you never really know with that guy.
