College Football TV Schedule Week 8: What Games Have Big BCS Implications?

Can you hear the screams coming from the world of college football? It's cries coming from the University of Alabama, LSU and Oklahoma. The screams of "THE BCS STANDINGS ARE OUT!"

It's like Brick, from the movie Anchorman, yelling just to yell, because in the end you and I "DON'T KNOW WHAT WE'RE YELLING ABOUT!"

But, it's fun to pump your chest and make your case as to why your team should be ranked at No. 1, Oklahoma and Alabama fans. 

However, what about those fans from schools like, Oklahoma State, Clemson, Stanford, Wisconsin and Oregon, they all have a reason to stand out and yell why their team should be included with the rest of the elite teams in college football. 

And then there's Boise State, the little school with the tiny voice that is heard, but is drowned out by the other schools named above. 

So enough with BCS talk, we're tired of it for now. Let's just concentrate on watching television, ignoring the world around us, eating and drinking as much as possible and enjoying another week of college football.

		Illinois (23) at Purdue	ESPN-2	Illinois was upset at home against Ohio State last week. How do they respond this week against the Boilermakers?
		Cincinnati at South Florida	ESPN-3.com	Cincinnati, like Rutgers may be a team that a lot of people know about come November.
		Jacksonville State at Kentucky	ESPN-U	Kentucky may make the SEC look horrible this week losing to Jack. St.
		Northern Illinois at Buffalo	ESPN-3.com	MAC powers COLLIDE!
		Indiana at Iowa	Big Ten Network	IU and Iowa, two teams that will not be playing for the Big Ten championship game.
	12:21 PM	Arkansas (9) at Ole Miss	SEC Network	Ole Miss has turned into the punching bag of the SEC very quickly.
	3:00 PM	Boston Collage at Virginia Tech (12)	ESPN-3.com	Virginia Tech took a tough Wake Forrest team and beat them down last week. How do they play this week against a horrible Boston College?
		Louisiana Tech at Utah State	ESPN-3.com	A loss in this game will ruin both of these teams BCS rankings.
	3:30 PM	Auburn (20) at LSU (1)	CBS	LSU is No. 1 in the BCS and gets to face last year’s National Champion. A win for LSU puts the final “nail in the coffin” for Auburn’s chances at defending their title.
		Air Force at Boise State (5)	Versus	Boise State has to win out and win out in a HUGE way every week until their season is over.
		Nebraska (13) at Minnesota	ABC	Nebraska has their first weaker Big-Ten opponent this week. The Cornhusker fans shouldn’t have to sweat this game out.
		Texas A&M (17) at Iowa State	ABC	TAMU finally held onto a second half lead last week against Baylor. Maybe they have figured out how to play a full game?
		Georgia Tech (22) Miami (FL)	ESPN	Ga Tech blew their chance at a great BCS ranking in the first standings. Now they have to win against Miami to stay in the Top 25.
		Maryland at Florida State	ABC	Florida State has seen a season slip away, as just last month they were a Top 5 team.
		Temple at Bowling Green	ESPN-3.com	Temple and Bowling Green, a game with zero BCS implications.
	4:05 PM	Fresno State at Nevada	ESPN-3.com	Same with this game between Fresno State and Nevada.
	7:00 PM	Penn State (21) at Northwestern	Big Ten Network	Penn State is a very quiet 6-1 on the season. And you all thought Joe Pa didn’t have it any more.
		Army at Vanderbilt	ESPN-U	Vanderbilt still has a chance at making a bowl game this year.
		Miami (OH) at Toledo	ESPN-3.com	Another battle between MAC powers!
	7:15 PM	Tennessee at Alabama (2)	ESPN-2	Alabama starts their march towards their epic home game against LSU on Nov. 5.
	7:30 PM	USC at Notre Dame	NBC	A rivalry under the lights, as USC travels to South Bend. Will ND surprise us all with another uniform like the one they wore against Michigan?
	8:00 PM	Texas Tech at Oklahoma (3)	ABC	Oklahoma started slow against Kansas last week, but shut them down in the second half. Against a good offense like Tech, they cannot afford to start slow again.
		Wisconsin (6) at Michigan State (16)	ESPN	Wisconsin is hated by the computers but loved by the human voters. This week they can impress the machines by winning big against MSU.
		Washington (25) at Stanford (6)	ABC	Suck for Luck continues this week.
		Middle Tennessee at Florida Atlantic	ESPN-3.com	If you put a wager on this game, please consult someone to help you with your addiction.
