NFL Predictions Week 6: Picking the Winner of the Most Anticipated Matchups
Week 6 of the NFL season brings with it four highly anticipated matchups that we can't wait to see. Whether it's because the game has playoff implications, it showcases a surprisingly good team or because it involves a certain "dream team" turned nightmare that almost everyone wants to see fail, these six games will be the most watched this week.
Buffalo Bills at New York Giants
This game features the 4-1 Bills, who travel to take on the 3-2 Giants. The Bills will rely upon Fred Jackson, Ryan Fitzpatrick and a highly effective offense to beat the Giants. The Giants, on the other hand, will need solid play from Eli Manning and Ahmad Bradshaw to win this one.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Giants give up a lot of rushing yards, and the Bills love to pound the ball with Fred Jackson. The key to this game will be whether Eli Manning is throwing interceptions or not. The Bills have forced 16 turnovers and have three defensive touchdowns this season. Manning has only thrown for five interceptions, but three came last week. Manning has only thrown one interception in games that the team has won this year.
I can't see Manning avoiding the interception in this game, which is why I'm picking Buffalo to win on the road.
San Francisco 49ers at Detroit Lions
The Lions are off to a 5-0 start, something that seemed ludicrous for the last few seasons until it happened this season. Their next test is against the 4-1 49ers in a game that will come down to the wire.
The 49ers bottle up the run well. They also have the fourth-best run defense in the league, and they can run the ball effectively themselves.
While stopping Jahvid Best is key, he is not the Lions' best player. The 49ers still struggle against the pass, and when you're facing Matt Stafford and Calvin Johnson you'd better be able to shut them down.
Because San Fran can't stop Megatron, I give the edge to the Lions at home.
Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Redskins
This is the one that I think won't even be close, but it will certainly make most people happy.
We all know that the Eagles can't stop the run. We also know that the Redskins have the fourth-best ground game in the NFL, rejuvenated by the return of a healthy Ryan Torain who went for 135 yards and a score in his first game back.
Another couple of factors to keep in mind is that the Redskins had a bye and are given home-field advantage. This one is pretty much a no-brainer: Redskins win easily at home.
Dallas Cowboys at New England Patriots
The Cowboys are coming off of a bye week, and they are going to need that extra week of preparation if they want to beat the Patriots at home.
The Patriots' incredible passing game is going to be more than the Cowboys' defense can handle, but it all comes down to the Cowboys' offense. Because Romo was given an extra week of preparation I see him doing well.
When Romo does well the Cowboys do well. I see him having a big game and keeping this game competitive. This game isn't going to be a blowout by any means, and I see it coming down to the final minute.
With that being said, I still give the edge to the Patriots, and the Cowboys fall to 2-3.
