BCS Rankings Week 8: Michigan and 3 Teams Who Don't Deserve a BCS Bowl Bid

The Michigan Wolverines and QB Denard Robinson proved they didn't deserve any of the hype surrounding them.

The Wolverines were beaten and battered by the Michigan State Spartans, and proved they don't deserve a BCS bowl bid.

Is there any doubt in that the Wolverines were the most overrated team in the country heading into yesterday's game?

Nobody can actually believe that Robinson is going to lead your team to a BCS game. His accuracy is awful, and he has a horrible deep ball. He might have led Michigan back against Notre Dame, but that's because his WRs made some incredibly difficult catches.

Robinson should be a wildcat QB, not an every down starter. The more he plays, the less likely Michigan is to reach a BCS game.

Don't worry though, this is Brady Hoke's first year as head coach, and he is already proving to be a much better coach than Rich Rodriguez.

Virginia Tech Hokies

The Hokies have been rolling over the ACC for years, and it's starting to get old. It's time for their run to end.

Virginia Tech has absolutely no offense, and they can't rely on Logan Thomas to throw the ball. Thomas is averaging less than 200 yards passing per game, and this team has played the likes of Appalachian State, East Carolina, Arkansas State and Marshall.

Thomas didn't even top 100 passing yards in a 17-10 victory against East Carolina.

Can you really rely on Thomas to carry this team to a BCS victory?

This team was blown out at home by Clemson, and are no longer the pride of the ACC. Clemson has proven to be the best team in the ACC, a conference that should only receive one BCS bid.

Virginia Tech still has a chance to win the ACC, which should be quite scary, because no one wants to see them lose another BCS game.

South Carolina Gamecocks

The Gamecocks are in prime position to advance to another SEC Championship game. You should be hoping they get blown out by either LSU or Alabama in that game.

The Gamecocks are incredibly overrated, and don't deserve to even sniff the BCS this year.

Starting QB Stephen Garcia was benched and dismissed from the team following the team's loss to Auburn, which now places a lot of pressure on Sophomore QB Connor Shaw.

The offense is not as electric as it was last season, and they may be without Marcus Lattimore for quite some time.

This team has just not impressed anyone this year, and they have been squeaking out victories against inferior opponents. They barely knocked off Navy, Georgia and Mississippi State, they also had problems with East Carolina.

No one in their right mind can think that South Carolina is a BCS team. While an SEC East title isn't out of the question, they don't deserve any recognition from the BCS.
