Liverpool vs. Manchester United: Wayne Rooney Will Carry Red Devils to Victory

Wayne Rooney will lead Manchester United to a big win against Premier League rival Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday, giving the Red Devils three crucial points in their championship defense.

United's attacking players will be too much for the Liverpool defenders to handle, especially center backs Jamie Carragher and Martin Skrtel.

Carragher doesn't have the quickness or recovery speed to contain Red Devils forwards Javier Hernandez, Ashley Young, or Danny Welbeck.

The wings will be an area where Manchester United can really cause problems for Liverpool. Nani and Ashley Young are the best wing combination in world soccer, and both will have a field day on Saturday.

Young has made a fantastic contribution to United after arriving from Aston Villa in a summer transfer, and his ability to set up Wayne Rooney with scoring opportunities has really improved the offensive power of United.

Nani is making a case to be United's best player this season and has shown a great ability to be a threat as a playmaker and goal scorer.

Rooney has been in top form for Manchester United this season, starring in all competitions. His recent three-match ban that will force him to miss all of England's Euro 2012 group stage matches will fuel him to excel for his club.

Rooney will want to show the fans he is still focused after UEFA's decision following his red card with England against Montenegro last Friday.

This season Rooney has nine goals in the Premier League, which is one ahead of Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero for the league lead.

Manchester United will beat Liverpool on Saturday and earn a crucial road victory on their way to another Premier League title.
