The English Premier League is the most watched football league in the world, but there are constantly major games that needed to be noticed outside of the United Kingdom.

Spain, Italy, Germany, Holland and France all have great matchups each and every week, and we highlight some of the games to watch or follow throughout the weekend.

All five of the major continental leagues have some great clashes on display, and your rundown of the best to see will guide you in the right time and direction to get as close to the action as possible.

Werder Bremen vs. Borussia Dortmund

Synopsis: Defending champions Borussia Dortmund travel to current second place club Werder Bremen for a clash in their famous Weserstadion.

League: Spanish La Liga

Synopsis: Jose Mourinho's Real Madrid need this victory to maintain the pressure on Barcelona as they chase their rivals. Real Betis will hope to shock the giants after a great start to their season saw them sit at the top of the table earlier in the campaign.
