College Football Predictions Week 7: Oklahoma State and Teams That Will Win Big

Richard LangfordOct 12, 2011

The following teams are ready to make a big statement this week. They all have matchups against fellow Top 25 teams, and they will all win big.

No. 6 Oklahoma State vs. No. 22 Texas

Oklahoma State's offense is virtually unstoppable. They are scoring over 50 points per game. They have not been held under 30 points all season, and they won't in this one either.

Texas is 44th in the nation in points allowed per game. And the majority of those games have been against weak competition.

This defense was completely exposed last week against Oklahoma. They allowed 55 in that one, and you can expect a similar number here.

Prediction: Oklahoma State 57, Texas 27

No. 9 Oregon vs. No. 18 Arizona State

There is one serious question mark hanging over Oregon's high-powered offense in this due to the possibility of running back LaMichael James not playing.

However, Oregon has the backs to slide in without barely missing a beat.

Oregon will be at home in this one, and the Sun Devils do not have the players on defense to hang with the Ducks. They will get worn down, and this will get out of hand late.

Prediction: Oregon 49, Arizona State 27

No. 21 Texas A&M vs. No. 20 Baylor

The Aggies have had a rough go of things lately. Their defense is getting abused, and they are giving games away late.

They managed to pull out a victory last week, however, they still gave up 40 points. Through all of this, the offense has continued to produce, and they will be facing a weak Baylor defense in this one.

The Aggies will put up score after score and get enough stops late to turn this into a one-sided game.

Prediction: Texas A&M 42, Baylor 24
