Chelsea Defend Themselves To FA Today

So today finally sees the start of the two day hearing, during which, Chelsea will attempt to defend themselves over the ‘Battle at the Bridge’, during which their groundsman wrestled with United players warming down after our game.
I say ‘attempt’ because Chelsea groundsman not only didn’t control his behaviour – or his mouth - particularly well, but he also had a bit of a botched contract as well. And whilst the allegations of racism might not be proven, especially if Evra decides not to give evidence on that score as suggested, there’s no way they can play down Bethell’s behaviour which was clearly caught on camera.
Not only that, but in the course of the investigations, it turned out Bethell’s contract wasn’t exactly in accordance with FA expectations either, so I can’t see Chelsea coming out of this one too favourably really.
