BCS Rankings Projections 2011: Notre Dame and 3 Teams That Will Jump into Top 25
There are going to be three new teams in the Top 25 next week.
Notre Dame, Washington and Georgia will all make the jump when Texas, Texas A&M and Michigan State lose and get bounced out.
Notre Dame
Notre Dame doesn't play this week, which works out well for them, because they won't be able to blow their chance to get into the Top 25.
And that is the only reason they aren't already in the Top 25. They have killed themselves.
However, this team is cleaning up their act. They have almost eliminated the crushing turnovers that crippled them early in the season.
University of Washington
The Huskies play—and will destroy—a horrible Colorado team this week. Washington has just one loss this season, and that was a tough one in Nebraska.
Since then, they have two impressive conference wins against California and Utah. They have a dynamic offense and a quickly-improving defense.
They are ready for the Top 25.
Georgia
Georgia got off to a very slow 0-2 start. However, they have won four straight since, and they are looking good.
This week, they play a feisty Vanderbilt team. Vanderbilt has a solid defense but has shown the last two weeks in losses to South Carolina and Alabama that the Commodores can't handle the SEC competition.
Georgia will win this one convincingly and wind up back in the Top 25 in the process.
