Projected BCS Rankings: BCS Will Fail Again with Multitude of Undefeated Teams
BCS supporters are praying for losses, and plenty of them.
This season in college football, there is no team that’s head and shoulders above the rest, but there are plenty of talented football teams. Oklahoma, Stanford, Wisconsin, Boise State and whoever makes it out alive between LSU and Alabama have a great chance to finish undefeated. More likely than not, there will be more than two undefeated teams this season, which will result in even more BCS complaints.
College football should have a playoff system; there’s no doubt about that. The BCS is the greatest injustice in all of American sports. Despite the obvious need, it will never happen because of greed.
Small conference teams like Boise State will continue to get cheated. It wouldn’t even be surprising to see Clemson or Georgia Tech run the table and get left empty handed.
And what if LSU/Alabama, Oklahoma and Wisconsin all win out? That would be an utter disaster.
On that note, the first BCS rankings of the season come out next week. Here is a prediction to what the rankings will look like after this upcoming week’s play. Notable outcomes that will affect the rankings include Michigan taking out Michigan State, Texas A&M successfully defending their turf against Baylor, Oklahoma State dominating Texas and Oregon beating Arizona State in the battle for the best jerseys.
