AP Poll College Football 2011: Charting the Week 7 Rankings
Almost all the AP Top 25 teams were in action during Week 6. Some battered long time rivals, and some didn't show up and take care of business.
Some teams played their way out of the poll, and some played their way back in.
There's a good bit of movement in the middle and at the bottom of this weeks poll.
Let's take a look at what the Week 7 AP Poll looks like.
25. Houston
1 of 25Case Keenum and Houston finally crack the Top 25, probably long overdue. The Cougars improved to 6-0 on the season by defeating East Carolina, 56-3.
This team is very good and has a legitimate shot to run the table.

24. Auburn
2 of 25The up-and-down Tigers couldn't get things going after the first quarter on Saturday against Arkansas in a 38-14 loss.

23. Michigan State
3 of 25The Spartans didn't play this week, but reappear in the rankings for the first time since their Week 3 loss to Notre Dame

22. Texas
4 of 25Texas didn't last in the Top 10 very long, as their youth was exposed Saturday against Oklahoma.
It doesn't get any easier next week either.

21. Texas A&M
5 of 25The Aggies finally held on to a second-half lead and put an end to their two-game losing streak with a 45-40 victory over Texas Tech.

20. Baylor
6 of 25Robert Griffin III continued his push for the Heisman Trophy, and Baylor routed Iowa State 49-26.

19. Virginia Tech
7 of 25The Hokies outlasted Miami in one of the more entertaining games of the season on Saturday.
Quarterback Logan Thomas redeemed himself for the loss to Clemson with a big-time effort, combining for five touchdowns—including the game-winning 19-yard touchdown run with just a little more than a minute left in the game.

18. Arizona State
8 of 25Sun Devils quarterback Brock Osweiler had a big night, throwing for 325 yards and three touchdowns in a 35-14 win over Utah.

17. Kansas State
9 of 25Bill Snyder's Wildcats remained unbeaten with a 24-17 victory over Missouri in which quarterback Collin Klein found the end zone three times on the ground.

16. Illinois
10 of 25Illinois continued their surprising start to the season by defeating Indiana, 41-20. Quarterback Nathan Scheelhaase was outstanding again, combining for three touchdowns.

15. South Carolina
11 of 25The Gamecocks got back on track with a 54-3 beating of Kentucky. New South Carolina quarterback Connor Shaw threw for 311 yards and four touchdowns in the win.

14. Nebraska
12 of 25The Cornhuskers were all but dead in the second half Saturday night, but rallied to score 28 unanswered points to defeat Ohio State 34-27, earning their first-ever Big Ten win in the process.

13. West Virginia
13 of 25The Mountaineers handled Connecticut 43-16 on Saturday, as quarterback Geno smith continued to put up huge numbers. Smith had one of his best games of his career, throwing for 450 yards and four touchdowns.

12. Georgia Tech
14 of 25The Yellow Jackets nearly allowed Maryland to steal one on Saturday, but in the end came away with a 21-16 win to improve to 6-0 on the young season.

11. Michigan
15 of 25The Wolverines outscored Northwestern 28-0 in the second half to pull away with a 42-24 victory. Quarterback Denard Robinson once again put on a show, combining for more than 450 yards of total offense and four combined touchdowns.

10. Arkansas
16 of 25The Razorbacks shut out Auburn throughout the final three quarters en route to a 38-14 SEC victory. quarterback Tyler Wilson threw for a pair of scores and ran in another one.

9. Oregon
17 of 25Speaking of injuries, Oregon was impressive once again in Thursday night's victory over California, but will be without the services of running back LaMichael James for the time being after he dislocated his elbow.

8. Clemson
18 of 25Clemson remained unbeaten with a victory over Boston College, but the injury to quarterback Tajh Boyd is a big cause for concern.

7. Stanford
19 of 25Andrew Luck had his best game of the season as the Cardinal easily handled Colorado, 48-7.

6. Oklahoma State
20 of 25Mike Gundy's high-powered offense was on full display Saturday, as Brandon Weeden threw five more touchdown passes and Oklahoma State hung 70 on Kansas.

5. Boise State
21 of 25The Broncos were once again impressive Friday night in a 57-7 thumping of Fresno State.

4. Wisconsin
22 of 25The Badgers had the week off after their lopsided victory over Nebraska last week.
Next Game: Saturday vs. Indiana
3. Oklahoma
23 of 25The Sooners sent a message to Texas in a 55-17 pasting of the Longhorns, the most lopsided victory in the Red River Rivalry since 2003.
Look out for the Sooners; quarterback Landry Jones is heating up.

2. Alabama
24 of 25Alabama holds its spot near the top of the rankings after the Crimson Tide defense was on display in a 34-0 blanking of Vanderbilt.
Quarterback A.J. McCarron threw four touchdown passes for the Tide.

1. LSU
25 of 25The top-ranked Tigers crushed SEC rival Florida, 41-17. Spencer Ware led the way with 108 yards on the ground and a pair of touchdowns.
Quarterback Jordan Jefferson was worked into the LSU offense a little bit more this week.
