US vs. Honduras: Americans Primed for Massive Victory in International Friendly

The United States have failed to capture Jurgen Klinsmann's first victory as the head coach of the United States Men's National Team in the coach's first three matches.

They are due for a breakthrough this week, and it should come against Honduras.

The Americans are much more talented than Honduras, and should have no problem coming away with a victory on home soil.

They will be without Landon Donovan for the match, but Clint Dempsey and Jozy Altidore should provide all the offense this team needs.

It will be interesting to see which players join the regulars in the starting 11 for this match.

Altidore and Dempsey will obviously lead the attack, while Michael Bradley figures to feature in central midfield. Tim Howard will make his usual appearance in goal, as Michael Orozco, Carlos Bocanegra and Steve Cherundolo figure to feature along the back line. It also seems likely that Timmy Chandler will join the starting 11 for what will be a two-hour examination to see if he has what it takes to start for the Americans.

The central midfield will be weak for Honduras in this match, which means the Americans will have every chance to dominate possession. Wilson Palacios and Hendry Thomas are both injured and will be out, which means Bradley and possibly Maurice Edu will need to rise to the occasion.

They will have every opportunity to dominate possession in central midfield and they should be able to lead a dominant offensive attack.

Even with his father out as the coach, Bradley remains the key to victory. He must find a way to get the ball to Dempsey and Altidore, early and often.
