Starting a quarterback for your fantasy team can sometimes be easy; other times, it's difficult.
Prior to kickoff it all comes down to matchups: opponents defensive line, secondary and ability to stop the run.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Matt Schaub
Obviously, Schaub is a start every week, but here's why he's a top play in Week 5.
The Raiders are currently allowing 274 yards through the air and have shown no ability to stop any opposing quarterback this year.
Yes, Andre Johnson is sidelined—don't worry.
The Texans will pound Arian Foster and Ben Tate, which should be very beneficial to the play-action passing game they utilize often.
He'll have success finding his tight end Owen Daniels and FB/TE James Casey.
Cam Newton
Newton, right now, is an elite fantasy quarterback. Forget the fact his team is 1-3.
He faces a rather weak Saints secondary (allowing 254 passing yards) in a game in which he'll get a lot of possesses due to New Orleans scoring often.
It is possible he'll throw a few interceptions, but those should be negated by over 300-yards passing, a passing touchdown or two and quite possibly a running score as well.
Another obvious one.
The Broncos were thrashed by Aaron Rodgers last week, and I expect the same out of Philip Rivers this week, although he doesn't have nearly the amount of weapons.
One would think the loss of Antonio Gates would severely drop Rivers' fantasy stock, but he's so good and will distribute the ball to any guy running routes; it doesn't affect him.
Division games usually stay relatively close, so there should be a fair amount of passing in this one, far into the second half.
Honorable Mentions: Mike Vick against Buffalo, Ryan Fitzpatrick against Philadelphia and Eli Manning against Seattle.
