Fantasy Football: Chad Henne Injury Means Trade Brandon Marshall, Daniel Thomas
Even with a healthy Chad Henne under center, Miami Dolphins' wide receiver Brandon Marshall and running back Daniel Thomas weren't producing much hope in terms of fantasy football.
And now, they must revert to Matt Moore, at least for the immediate future.
According to Jeff Darlington of NFL.com, Henne made the decision himself:

""Breaking News: Dolphins QB Chad Henne opts for shoulder surgery & will miss rest of season, multiple sources say."
"
After the Dolphins' 0-4 start and now the injury, Henne choosing season-ending surgery comes as no surprise.
For one, Miami began working out three other quarterbacks earlier this week, so they knew something like this was bound to occur.
However, the three quarterbacks the Dolphins' worked out—David Garrard, Brodie Croyle, and Trent Edwards—shouldn't be convincing enough to keep Marshall and Thomas on your fantasy team.
Brandon Marshall
Let's begin with Marshall.
Through four games he has compiled 313 yards on 22 receptions and has scored one TD.
That comes out to an average of 78 yards and five receptions per game, which usually only adds up to seven or eight fantasy points unless you're in a league that also gives one point per reception, which would come out to 12 or 13 points.
And although those numbers aren't terrible, for a freak receiver like Marshall you certainly expect more. However, a wide receiver can't ever be too much better than the quarterback throwing him the rock, because how else is he going to get the ball?
Reverses and end-arounds are gimmick plays, and a quarterback can only get bailed out by his receivers so many times before the defense adjusts.
Daniel Thomas
Thomas has amassed 202 yards on 41 attempts, caught four passes for 37 yards, and also has only one TD.
So he's averaging a total of just under 60 yards per game, which shouldn't be deserving of the flex position backup let alone the No. 2 running back in fantasy.
Not to mention the Dolphins' offensive line has been under-performing, which only makes Marshall and Thomas that much less appealing.
Matt Moore
At least Henne had the arm strength to get the ball downfield and keep the defense from continually blitzing, but now they must rely on an even less-proven quarterback in Matt Moore.
While in Carolina, he had a few bright spots, but becoming the full-time starter is a whole new ballgame.
Defenses know that he's going to be under center, so they will prepare for him, whereas it didn't matter nearly as much when Moore was with the Panthers, as he wasn't the No. 1 quarterback.
Well, now Matt Moore is the No. 1 quarterback, but he'll be on a short leash.
That being said, it's only going to make Marshall and Thomas even less productive than they've already been, so get what you can for them now, because just like when it happened to Enron, their stock is plummeting fast.
