Bleacher Report's Top 25 College Football Poll: Week 6

Week 6 of the college football season was a quiet one as there were no big upsets in the Top 25.

Florida State continues to slide, as they were at one time ranked in the Top Five in the AP and Coaches preseason polls.

Here is the new Bleacher Report Top 25 poll for Week 6 as voted on by 20 B/R writers.

Longhorn receiver Jaxson Shipley was the only bright spot for Texas, as he caught nine catches for 89 yards and a touchdown.

Bear quarterback Robert Griffin threw for 212 yards and a touchdown, while running for another 107 yards and one touchdown.

Baylor gained over 600 yards of total offense.

Thomas was a one man wrecking crew for the Hokies, as he threw for 310 yards and three touchdowns, while running for 28 yards and scoring two touchdowns on the ground.

Notes: LaMichael James ran for over 200 yards for the third straight game (239), but suffered a nasty arm injury in Oregon's blowout victory over Cal on Thursday night.

With just under 15 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, James took a handoff and landed on his arm, causing it to twist backwards in a very ugly scene.

X-Rays were taken, and it is not broken, but my guess is James will be out for a little while.

Oregon quarterback Darron Thomas threw three touchdowns in the win.
