College Football Rankings: Wisconsin and 5 Non-SEC BCS Title Contenders
The Wisconsin Badgers made a statement on Saturday night with a big win against Nebraska in the Corn Huskers first ever Big-10 conference game in school history.
The Badgers are one of the premier teams in college football and are one of the several teams that proved they were legitimate BCS title contenders this week.
Let's take a look at the top five BCS title contenders who aren't in the SEC.

5) Clemson Tigers, ACC
1 of 5Clemson is 5-0 this season and has already beaten three quality teams, defending champion Auburn, and ACC foes Virginia Tech and Florida State.
The Tigers have more quality wins than most teams in the country.
Clemson's offense is averaging 34.8 points per game this season and has been led by superb quarterback Tajh Boyd.
Boyd has 1,459 passing yards with 14 touchdowns and two interceptions, quietly making himself a worthy Heisman Trophy candidate.
Clemson still has games against No. 13 Georgia Tech and No. 18 South Carolina, and a one-loss or undefeated Tigers team would certainly be worthy of a BCS title game appearance.
4) Oregon Ducks, Pac-12
2 of 5Despite an opening week loss to the LSU Tigers, who are currently the No. 1 ranked team in the country, the Oregon Ducks have had a very good season, and are still BCS title contenders.
They average the most points scored per game in the nation with 52, and are sixth in rushing yards with 299.5 per game.
A matchup with No. 6 Stanford on November 12 will make or break the Ducks' season, but a one-loss season and a Pac-12 championship is worthy of a BCS title game appearance.
The Ducks have an amazing offense led by running back LaMichael James, and if not for a few costly turnovers against LSU, they'd be the top team in America.
3) Stanford Cardinal, Pac-12
3 of 5Stanford has the best quarterback in the country in Andrew Luck, and an underrated defense. They are 4-0 and ranked sixth in the AP Poll.
In recent weeks they've seen Wisconsin and Oklahoma State leap frog them in the polls, but that's not Stanford's fault.
Their Pac-12 schedule isn't as grueling as some of the other teams from BCS conferences, but a November 12 matchup against No. 9 Oregon will make or break their season.
Luck doesn't have amazing statistics, but he's been very efficient and has 1,013 yards passing with 11 touchdowns. He's also completing over 70 percent of his passes.
Stanford hasn't played too many quality opponents, but given their chance with any elite team, they could beat any school in the country.
2) Oklahoma Sooners, Big-12
4 of 5The Oklahoma Sooners are the third ranked team in the AP Poll and are 4-0. They have a massive Big-12 conference matchup against their arch rival Texas next Saturday in the Red River Shootout.
Quarterback Landry Jones is leading the Oklahoma offense with 1,447 yards passing and 10 touchdowns. The Sooners are averaging 377.8 yards passing per game, which is fifth best in the nation, and are scoring 42.5 points per game, good for 11th in America.
The Sooners have beaten good non-conference teams, such as Florida State in September, and are a dangerous team with a balanced offense and a good defense.
1) Wisconsin Badgers, Big-10
5 of 5The Wisconsin Badgers made a big statement in Week 5 with a major victory against then No. 8 Nebraska in the Corn Huskers first Big-10 conference game in school history.
The Badgers offense dominated Nebraska like they have opponents all year, and quarterback Russell Wilson has been a dominant force, passing for 1,391 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Wisconsin's offense has been very balanced this season, as they are ranked 10th in the nation in rushing and 29th in passing.
The Badgers are also third in the nation in points per game with 48.4, and are second in points allowed, surrendering just 10.2 per game.
Wisconsin is a well-rounded machine that is balanced enough on offense to defeat any team in the country, and their defense is top notch as well.
