College Football Ranking 2011: 3 Unranked Teams That Will Find the Top 25

Week 5 has been another crazy week in the world of college football.

There have been blowouts, nail-biters and stunning upsets this weekend.

The result of these games is going to shake things up in the Top 25 rankings. Some teams will fall drastically and others will rise to the top.

Some will just be happy to find a place in the Top 25.

Here are three unranked teams that will find themselves ranked after this weekend.

Auburn Tigers

These Tigers may not be as good as the team led by Cam Newton a year ago, but leaving them out of the Top 25 is just ridiculous.

At 4-1, Auburn has now beaten two ranked opponents this season.

In Week 2, they took down No. 16 Mississippi State. This weekend, they took down No. 10 South Carolina.

Their only loss this year has been against the unbeaten Clemson Tigers, who will likely be ranked in the Top 10 after this weekend.

Kansas State Wildcats

The undefeated Kansas State Wildcats pulled off a huge upset this weekend against Heisman hopeful Robert Griffin III and the No. 15 Baylor Bears.

The Wildcats pulled off an upset against the Miami Hurricanes just a week ago.

The win may be enough to drop Baylor all the way out of the Top 25 and push Kansas State into one of the bottom spots in the rankings.

Michigan State Spartans

A loss against Notre Dame earlier this year dropped Michigan State all the way out of their ranking in the Top 25.

It was probably warranted at the time, since the Irish were the only team with any value that the Spartans had faced.

Now, it seems that Michigan State deserves to be back in, even if it is closer to the bottom of the list.

The Michigan State defense, which is ranked eighth in the nation in scoring defense, absolutely handled Ohio State this weekend allowing just seven points.
