College Football Uniform Watch: Who's Busting Out Hot Gear in Week 5 and Beyond
College football uniforms have become a fashion spectacle in 2011.
We all saw those awful uniforms that Maryland rolled out with in Week 1 of the season. We've also seen Oklahoma State, Boise State, Georgia, Arizona State and of course, Oregon flash some of the hottest gear throughout the first four weeks of the college football season.
But guess what? You got it—there are more coming your way.
South Carolina is next in line to bust out some loud uniforms in Week 5. But who else?
Let's take a look at who's breaking out the hottest gear in Week 5 and beyond.
South Carolina
1 of 5South Carolina is scheduled to bust out these loud uniforms on Oct. 1 as part of the Wounded Warrior Project.
These uniforms are made by Under Armor and appear to feature USA stars and stripes from head to tie. Instead of showing the names of the South Carolina players on the back of the jersey, the uniforms will feature words like "Duty, Honor, Courage, Commitment, Integrity, Country, or Service."
The grey and red colors are very cool, and they go well together. The design itself looks to be a little questionable, but you have to love the fact that they are going with USA stars and stripes to honor our great country. Those USA red, white and blue gloves are classy.
I've never been a huge fan of leaving the players' names off the back of the jerseys and changing them to other words, so they could do without that feature.
And of course, the dark tinted face mask looks any uniform look awesome.

Ohio State
2 of 5As if Ohio State didn't have bland uniforms to begin with. They make the decision to go ahead and attempt to spice them up with this new Nike Combat look, which looks to be an epic fail.
The helmets are plain and boring, and are actually a downgrade from the Buckeyes normal helmets.
The jerseys are pants are both plain and dull as well, with nothing that stands out.
The cleats are probably the best part about this uniform, but who really focuses on the cleats?
In my opinion, red and black is a great color scheme with a ton of potential, but these uniforms completely neglect that.

Michigan State
3 of 5When do these uniforms go on sale and when can I purchase it?
Michigan State hit a home run with these uniforms that players will wear in their Oct. 15 home matchup against rival Michigan.
The new helmet is bronze with the Spartan logo on the side and a green stripe down the middle. The jerseys themselves are a forest green with bronze numbers and have "Spartans" in black on the upper back. The pants are black and the cleats are bronze.
Those gloves are by far the coolest collection I have seen yet.
The only thing that might have made these uniforms better is to substitute silver instead of that bronze. But all-in-all, you can't fault Nike for these uniforms.

LSU
4 of 5The No.1 ranked team in the country should deserve to wear some new gear. And from the looks of it, they did pretty good for themselves with these Nike Pro Combat uniforms.
The jerseys and pants themselves are pretty simple, with the traditional purple and yellow/gold that LSU always wears. But the white-on-white look is flashy, and adding white helmets to the mix certainly helps the cause.
Those gloves with the Tigers' eyes on them define "awesome" and the gold and white cleats are pretty darn sharp as well. This is a classic example of simple, but cool.

Stanford
5 of 5If it wasn't for that helmet, I would really be down on these uniforms. But that black helmet with the red S is probably the best helmet I've seen yet.
Like I said earlier, it's pretty hard to go wrong with red and black, but somehow, just like Ohio State, Stanford managed to go wrong here with these.
What is with the all red? These are going to look like Clifford the dog running down the football field.
I like the gloves, cleats and especially the helmet. Beyond that, way too much red.
