Alabama vs Florida: 3 Reasons Why They'll Meet Again in SEC Title Game
This weekend the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Florida Gators will play in one of the biggest games of the weekend. Both teams are undefeated and have SEC Championship on their minds.
The game is shaping up to be possibly one of the best games of the year. It's a must watch for all college football fans.
Although the loser should not be disappointed because these two teams will meet again in the SEC Championship game.
Here are some of the reasons why.

Weakness in the SEC East
1 of 3If the Florida Gators were to lose this game, they should still remain the heavy favorites to win the SEC East.
There are really only two other teams that have a legitimate chance to win that division and that's South Carolina and Georgia.
The Gamecocks have looked horrible lately and struggle to beat opponents that they should destroy like Navy and East Carolina. If it wasn't for Marcus Lattimore running the ball like a mad man this team would easily have two losses already.
Quarterback Stephen Garcia who was suppose to be one of the top starting quarterbacks in the conference is really stinking it up. Only three touchdown passes to seven interceptions is not going to get it done. Neither is a completion percentage of 54 percent. Also, why does Alshon Jeffery, one of the top receivers in the game have only 14 catches and one touchdown?
Let's not even get into that defense that is giving up 26 points per game.
You have to still consider the Georgia Bulldogs a contender just off of the talent they still have on this team. But they haven't proven they can beat anybody good. They lost against the Boise State Broncos and South Carolina already.
I really like Aaron Murray and love the weapons and speed they have on both sides of the ball but I can't trust them until they have a quality win.
Florida hasn't proven much this season either, but if they were to play either of these teams right now, who would you take?
Gators have looked like the best team in that division through four weeks, so, that's who you have to go with.
Alabama Won't Lose More Than One Game This Season
2 of 3Alabama only has two games (looking on paper) that they could possibly lose. That is this game and the game November 5 against LSU. I can't possibly see them losing both.
The other teams in the SEC West will lose at least two games.
The LSU Tigers still have to play Florida, Auburn, Alabama and Arkansas. That's a tough schedule and the lack of production from their offense really scares me. I don't see them winning the game against Alabama with that game being played in Tuscaloosa.
Arkansas still has a chance to go to the SEC Championship game but they still play Texas A&M, Auburn, South Carolina, and LSU. With the way that offense performed against the tough defense of the Crimson Tide, they may struggle to LSU and Texas A&M. Not looking good for them.
I guess you could still consider Auburn a SEC West contender but that team is very young. The schedule is difficult and that defense is brutal. Stopping the running game is going to be difficult when they face Marcus Lattimore, Florida's running game, Trent Richardson and LSU's two-headed monster.
I really don't see Alabama losing more than one game this season, if any. They are a good bet to win the SEC West.
History
3 of 3You could make a solid argument that Florida and Alabama are the best two teams in the SEC. These two teams have met for a record seven times in the 19 year history of the SEC Championship game.
No other matchup in the Championship game has been played more than twice.
If you think that Alabama will make it and Florida won't, you will also be going against history. All seven times that Alabama has made the SEC Championship game, they have played the Florida Gators.
You could make an argument for other teams but I won't bet against history.
