For the first season ever, their will be a championship game to decide the winner of the Big Ten conference.

The addition of the Nebraska Cornhuskers to the conference allowed it to split into two divisions, the Legends and the Leaders.

Here is a look at the top five remaining games between Big Ten opponents.

Nebraska Cornhuskers vs. Wisconsin Badgers

One of the biggest games left in the Big Ten schedule is the matchup between the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Wisconsin Badgers.

The game, taking place in Wisconsin, could be a preview of the first ever Big Ten championship game.

Nebraska will come into the game ranked eighth in the nation and Wisconsin will come into the game ranked seventh in the nation.

The game will take place on Oct. 1st at 8 p.m. on ABC.

Ohio State Buckeyes vs. Nebraska Cornhuskers

In another potential preview of the first Big Ten championship game, the Ohio State Buckeyes will play the Nebraska Cornhuskers in Lincoln, Nebraska.

The game will occur a week after Nebraska's matchup with Wisconsin. If Nebraska comes out on top against Wisconsin, then this game will be even bigger for Ohio State.

The game will showcase the powerful Nebraska offense against the stingy Ohio State defense. It will also be the biggest game of Ohio State rookie quarterback Braxton Miller.

The game will take place on Oct. 8th at 8 p.m. on ABC or ESPN 2.

Wisconsin Badgers vs. Ohio State Buckeyes

The Wisconsin Badgers and the Ohio State Buckeyes are in the same division in the newly aligned Big Ten conference. Therefore, only one of them will be able to make it into the Big Ten championship game.

This game between the two schools could very likely be the deciding game as to who gets the honor of participating in the first ever conference championship game.

The Wisconsin offense will be a big hurdle for the Buckeyes to climb over despite their powerful defense.

The game will take place on Oct. 29th in Columbus, Ohio at 8 p.m.

Michigan Wolverines vs. Nebraska Cornhuskers

This game between the Wolverines and the Cornhuskers could very well decide which team makes it to the Big Ten championship game.

The two teams are in the same division, and both cannot go to the championship game.

Both teams have dynamic and explosive running quarterbacks in Denard Robinson for Michigan and Taylor Martinez for Nebraska.

This game will likely be a high-scoring affair and will be fun to watch.

It will take place on Nov. 19th in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The time and channel have yet to be determined.

Ohio State Buckeyes vs. Michigan Wolverines

The annual game between the Buckeyes and the Wolverines is one of the most bitter rivalries among all sports.

Despite being in two different division within the Big Ten, the two teams will still face off every season as they have done for many years.

It doesn't matter what each team's record is or how successful their season has been. All of that is thrown out the window when these two teams meet. It is the biggest game of the season for both teams and nothing less than a victory is acceptable for either one.

The Buckeyes have dominated the Wolverines in recent years, but this years matchup looks to be one of the closest in awhile.

The game will take place on Nov. 26th in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The time and channel have yet to be determined.
