2011 College Football TV Schedule Week 5: TV Listings for Week 5

T.J. McaloonSep 25, 2011

Welcome back to another week of the Ultimate Television Viewing Guide for your College Football Week 5.

We're all the way through the first month of the season, and boy did the time fly. We still have the preseason No. 1 team still undefeated. We still have the SEC dominating college football. We haven't had any major injuries to any of the preseason Heisman Trophy candidates. And we still have little Boise State standing outside of the BCS looking in with their little sign that reads, "Hey, don't forget about us!"

But, as we look forward to October, we should take a look at what is on our horizon.

There is conference play that has started up for some teams, but for others, it starts this week.

There is controversy among who is the true No. 1 team in the country. One poll says LSU, another poll says Oklahoma. And probably before the first BCS rankings, later this month, another poll will say either Stanford, Alabama or Boise State.

A major player on a college contender will go down to an injury. If I had to put a wager on it, no, not a bounty, a wager, I'd say Michigan's Denard Robinson or Nebraska's Taylor Martinez will be the first to go.

And there is still one more big college scandal out there. Come on Stanford; surprise us with your involvement in supplying Tiger Woods with hookers, drugs and booze for some big check he wrote your football team during the recruiting of Andrew Luck.

Any way, until these things happen we have to live in the here and now. And what we have now is another full week of college football to be watched.

Below you'll find your schedule of games, the channel or internet feed they're on, and a little fact about the team/game.
