La Liga Video: Absurd Playacting from Bosnia Captain in Sevilla-Valencia Game
Forget Sergio Busquets, Marcelo, Dani Alves, Sergio Ramos and anyone else you think may be a dirty flopper in La Liga. Emir Spahic puts them all to shame.
You'd think that the captain of the Bosnian national team would have a bit of class, and steer clear of these kinds of cheap tricks. Sadly, you'd be wrong.
In the above clip, Emir Spahic and an unidentified teammate (101GreatGoals incorrectly identifies him as Hedwiges Maduro, but Maduro is Aritz Aduriz's teammate, not Spahic's) team up to rile up Valencia striker Aritz Aduriz and get under his skin.

First, the unknown teammate gets involved in a situation between Spahic and Aduriz that has nothing to do with him, and gives Aduriz a small kick in the ankle which gets Aduriz even more irritated than he already is.
Then, to capitalize on Aduriz's building frustration, Spahic comes back at Aduriz while he is talking to Spahic's teammate and steps on the edge of boot. Fed up, Aduriz stamps on Spahic's foot, in an aggressive but definitely not injury-causing manner.
What follows next is absolutely revolting. Emir Spahic goes down as if he has just been shot by a sniper in the crowd, while the teammate begins wildly jumping around and pleading with the referee to card Aritz Aduriz. Aduriz can only helplessly watch on as he is sent off for basically defending himself against two of the most classless players I have ever seen in my life.
The incident has a direct effect on the result as Valencia lose 1-0 to Sevilla. Aduriz was arguably Valencia's most dangerous player, earning a penalty which Ever Banega missed and creating a decent number of scoring opportunities.
Hopefully La Liga's disciplinary branch takes some sort of action in regards to these two players, as their behavior was absolutely disgraceful and a disservice to the league as a whole. You surely would not see this kind of behavior go unpunished in the EPL, and hopefully La Liga understand this and do take action.
