College Football Uniforms: 5 Best Unis from Week 5
It seems like each new week in college football that a school has a completely new uniform set to reveal.
Some are better than others are, but going back to the classics is never a bad thing either.
Remember, change is good, just don't forget about your roots.
That being said, here is a list of the five best uniforms from Week 5 in the college football season.
Maryland Terrapins
1 of 5Despite not executing too well on the field, the Maryland Terrapins have some sweet uniforms.
It's obviously not your typical color combination, but the Terps are giving new life to new designs and ideas.
Now if only they can fix that football problem.
Oregon Ducks
2 of 5You never know what you're going to get with the Oregon Ducks.
That said, anytime they bust out the sick green pants with the white jerseys you can't go wrong.
The green helmets work well with the whole set also, but their white helmets would have been better.
Oklahoma State Cowboys
3 of 5Half the time I was watching the Oklahoma State-Texas A&M game I couldn't help but think what the Cowboys looked like.
It's not exact, but I saw a little of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers road unis in them for some reason.
Nonetheless, Oklahoma State's road uniforms were cool and they got the win on top of that.
Now the only question remaining is which of their uniforms are better.
This away uni way great, but their all black unis may be even better.
Alabama Crimson Tide
4 of 5We go classic on this one.
Anytime the Alabama Crimson Tide wear their crimson red jerseys and helmets with the white/red-striped pants, it's pure old-school.
Head coach Nick Saban and company aren't interested in changing the way they look, because they look amazing to begin with.
Besides, I think they're more concerned about winning as opposed to how their attire is judged.
Oklahoma Sooners
5 of 5Much like the aforementioned Alabama Crimson Tide, the Oklahoma Sooners kept to their roots and went classic this week.
The only real different between the Sooners and Crimson Tide is really just the darkness in the red color.
In any event, it's classic, old-school and pure college football lore.
Maybe we'll see the Sooners and Crimson Tide in the BCS national championship?
