USC Trojans vs. Arizona State Sun Devils: Spread and Predictions

The USC Trojans head to Tempe to take on the Arizona State Sun Devils in a game that is sure to yield entertaining results. 

Both teams are equally matched with issues of inexperience largely resting with USC. The Sun Devils are hoping to bounce back from a devastating loss to Illinois. Their momentum as a Top 25 team vanished in the blink of their 17-14 loss. 

USC hopes to retain their status of surging Pac-12 team. Their 3-0 record will be in danger as Arizona State can certainly get behind a punch.

I am sold on Arizona State rebounding after a sloppy game last week. They are the more experienced and talented squad and should be able to hold off USC's Matt Barkley. Go with the Sun Devils and the points.

My prediction is right here at 54. It all depends on how Brock Osweiler can rebound, which he will at home. Take the over.

BCS/Top 25 Poll Implications

You couldn't ask for a better game. Both teams have nothing less than the Top 25 on the line in this one. 

A win could send Arizona State back where they belong in the nation's elite. A loss would send the Trojans out of the rankings just as conference play heats up. 

Keys to Arizona State Win

Arizona State big man Brock Osweiler needs to rebound from a subpar game against Illinois. He has it in him to lead this team to a big win. 

The linebacker crew led by Vontaze Burfict, has to limit what the Trojans can do with their rushing attack.

Keys to USC Win

Matt Barkley is the real deal. However, after Robert Woods, I am not sold on his inexperienced receiving corps.
