Oregon vs. Arizona: Last Minute Spread Info and Predictions

The Oregon Ducks hit the road to take on the Arizona Wildcats in a game that has major Pac-12 implications. 

Both teams have been mired by a tough schedule. The Ducks suffered a loss against LSU that sent them out of the Top 10 Week 1. 

Arizona is hoping to get a breather from all the marquee teams they have had to face so far. There is no rest for the weary as the Wildcats take on their third nationally ranked team in as many weeks.

I love this spread for Oregon. They will get bit on some long balls, but aside from Nick Foles, the Wildcats are stagnant on offense. 

Over/Under: 65.5 

This is too big a number to take the over. Arizona cannot be counted on to take a significant share of the load. This game will settle more in the 50-60 range.

Oregon: Michael Clay, Rob Beard, Kenjon Barner, Josh Huff and Curtis White are all questionable.

Arizona: Jourdon Grandon, Jake Fischer, Adam Hall and Bryson Beirne are out indefinitely while Jonathan McKnight, Greg Nwoko and Willie Mobley are all out for the season.

BCS/Top 25 Poll Implications

 Arizona will gain a lot of respect if they take down Oregon, but they will not sniff the Top 25. 

The Ducks will plummet if they lose their second game to a lesser opponent. A win here will keep them safely in the Top 10 for the Pac-12 push. 

Keys to Arizona Win

Arizona has a deadly air attack led by matured quarterback Nick Foles. The problem is that he has received little to no help from the Wildcats run game. 

They will need to run the ball much better to get close to a dynamic Oregon team. 

Keys to Oregon Win

The Ducks have to keep the long ball from hurting them too much. If they key in on a dismal rushing attack, their offense will take care of the rest.
