New York Giants vs. Philadelphia Eagles: Last-Minute Info and Predictions
The New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles clash in a very important NFC East game early in the season.
Both teams enter the game with a record of 1-1. The Eagles lost to the Atlanta Falcons last week, while the Giants are coming off a Monday Night Football road victory against the St. Louis Rams.
The loser of this game heads to the bottom of the division, while the winner is one step closer to catching the Washington Redskins at the top of the NFC East.

Key Injuries
Who isn't hurt for the New York Giants at this point?
Domenik Hixon is out for the season with a torn ACL, which depletes a receiving corps that is still looking to recover from the loss of Steve Smith.
Other players who were unable to practice this week included CB Prince Amukamara (foot), DT Jimmy Kennedy (knee), WR Mario Manningham (concussion), DE Osi Umenyiora (knee).
If Manningham is unable to go, the Giants are going to be in a heap of trouble at the receiver spot.
Former Washington Redskin and Carolina Panther reject Devin Thomas might see time as the No. 2 receiver.
For the Philadelphia Eagles, they are most concerned about Michael Vick. He was cleared to practice this week and appears ready to suit up today.
The only other players suffering from injuries that are expected to miss the game are DE Juqua Parker (ankle) and DE Darryl Tapp (pectoral).
Fantasy Big Plays:
Ahmad Bradshaw (Start 'em)
Where is this amazing defense at that the Eagles are supposed to have? They have shut down the pass with no problem so far, but they are getting run all over.
They currently have the 30th ranked run defense and were run all over by Michael Turner last week.
With the Giants suffering from injuries in the receiving corps, look for Bradshaw to get an increased number of touches in both the running game and passing game.
Desean Jackson (Sit 'em)
The week I say to sit Jackson is the week he will go for huge yards, but this week isn't the one.
In Week 1, Santana Moss went for just 76 yards against the Giants. Moss is similar to Jackson in that he looks to break to big play, but he also gets more catches per game. Don't expect Jackson to have a big game in this one.
He is coming off a poor performance against a very soft Falcons secondary and the Giants are not going to let Jackson beat them again.
Bank on that.
Key to Giants Win
Run the ball. Run the clock.
The Giants need to keep the ball away from Philadelphia's offense and the best way to do that is to run the ball and control time of possession.
The Giants defense has looked shaky at times this year, as has the Giants offense. They are going to need to continue pounding Bradshaw and Brandon Jacobs if they are going to have any chance of getting a win in this one.
Key to Eagles Win
The Eagles need to force turnovers in this one.
Eli Manning has the tendency to be a turnover machine. If the Eagles can get pressure on him, he will make plenty of mistakes.
If they can force Manning to turn the ball over, the Eagles are bound to come away with a victory in this one.
Prediction: New York Giants 20, Philadelphia Eagles 27
