Oklahoma State vs Texas A&M: Brandon Weeden-Justin Blackmon, Best Combo in CFB?
In college football there are several great quarterbacks in all kinds of different conferences. Some you've never really heard of before because they play on sub-par teams or whatever the case may be.
A lot of the great quarterbacks you do know, are because they have a top wide receiver to throw the ball too. Every great quarterback needs that No. 1 option. Somebody who he can trust and knows that if he throws the ball, the receiver can go up there and get it.
Here are the top five quarterback-wide receiver combinations in college football right now.

Baylor: Robert Griffin and Kendall Wright
1 of 5If you saw the Baylor vs TCU game week 1, you would know why this combination made the list.
We all knew about Robert Griffin and him becoming a possible Heisman candidate, but I'm sure many didn't know about wide receiver Kendall Wright.
Wright has caught at least 50 passes his first three seasons at Baylor and is impressing some NFL scouts. Right now he is off to his best start of his career with 20 catches, 312 yards and three touchdowns in two games. In the TCU game alone he had 12 catches for 189 yards and two touchdowns.
Robert Griffin is on fire right now completing 84 percent of his passes for 624 yards and eight touchdowns. The stat that is most surprising is he has not thrown an interception. If he keeps up this type of play for the entire year, there is no question he should win the Heisman trophy.
Arizona: Nick Foles and Juron Criner
2 of 5Sure, Criner's numbers are slacking because he missed a game due to an appendectomy, but this combination is deadly when they're on the field together.
Last season quarterback Nick Foles threw for 3,191 yards and Criner was responsible for 1,233 of those yards. Did I mention he caught 11 of Fole's 20 passing touchdowns?
This season Foles has already thrown for over 1,000 yards and seven touchdowns in three games. In the two games Criner has played, he has 12 receptions for 199 yards and two touchdowns.
It would be nice to see this combination generate more wins, but you can't deny the numbers from this lethal combination.
USC: Matt Barkley and Robert Woods
3 of 5These two like each other so much, they connected 17 teams for 177 yards and three touchdowns week 1 against Minnesota. The 17 receptions for Robert Woods is a new USC record.
Although Matt Barkley loves to complete several passes to the other team, this combination hooks up quite a bit as Woods had 65 catches last year and already has 33 in three games this season. Woods also has four of Barkley's nine touchdown passes.
Many consider Barkley a top NFL quarterback prospect and when you have a receiver of Robert Woods caliber on your team, it's hard to look bad.
Oklahoma: Landry Jones and Ryan Broyles
4 of 5This team has to be No. 1 in the rankings for a reason, right?
Other than the Sooners great defense and fantastic coach, they also have one of the top quarterback and wide receiver combinations.
Landry Jones is a Heisman favorite this year that threw over 4,700 yards a season ago and Ryan Broyles had 1,622 of those yards. He also had 14 of Jones 38 touchdown passes.
This combination likes to hook up early and often as they connected 14 times in week 1 and even against Florida States' tough defense they still produced seven catches for 55 yards.
Both of these players have a future in the NFL and when you put them on the same team in college, it's just not fair.
Oklahoma State: Brandon Weeden and Justin Blackmon
5 of 5I posted a picture of Justin Blackmon with his helmet off because I want you to get a good look at a future No. 1 NFL wide receiver.
Was there really any doubt that this combination is the best in college football?
Last season Blackmon almost had half of Brandon Weeden's 34 touchdown passes as he finished with 20. He also had 1,782 receiving yards which is good for fourth all-time in college football.
Quarterback Weeden improves every season and so far this season he has completed 72 percent of his passes. Already in three games this combination has hooked up 27 times for 329 yards and three touchdowns.
In my eyes Justin Blackmon is the best wide receiver in the country and it doesn't hurt when he has quarterback like Brandon Weeden throwing him the ball.
