Arsenal News: Stan Kroenke Wrongfully Protects Arsene Wenger

Kyle VassaloJun 7, 2018

Despite a horrific start to the 2011 season, Ivan Gazidis says that Stan Kroenke absurdly maintains Arsene Wenger's position as Arsenal manager is safe, according to Sfgate.com.

Wenger has been great for Arsenal over the years, but it's time for change. It appeared that the Gunners may be on the upswing after losing to Blackburn and it's clear that they are not going to dig themselves out of squalor this season.

Cesc Fabregas' departure started a snowball effect that Wenger did nothing to slow down. Rather than being aggressive and bringing in new talent to compensate for Arsenal's hemorrhaging talent, Wenger was content sitting on his hands and using his policy on youth development as a crutch.

Down years are to be expected, but becoming the laughing stock of the entire English Premiere League and trying to justify it is downright embarrassing.

The fans have had enough and the organization is running out of excuses. It's impossible to defend his transfer policy any longer because obviously, it has produced terrible results.

Arsenal has a match coming up against Bolton, but there are no guarantees that they are going to come away with a victory. Every match is a tough match for the Gunners at this point and it's fair to blame Wenger.

Arsenal isn't even a talent farm at this point. They are an EPL bottom feeder and fans know that they have the means to produce a better product. This is a proud organization and the meek squad they have been reduced to is unforgivable.

Some may say that the losing is a collective effort, but the blame lies upon Wenger's indifferent approach to pursuing talented players.

The suffering for Arsenal cannot end until Wenger is out of the building. It becomes more clear with every loss that change is needed and Kroenke is eventually going to become exhausted trying to protect Wenger.
