Liga BBVA: Predictions for Round 5 Fixtures of La Liga (Technically Round 4)
It hasn't been a week yet, but La Liga will be back in full effect starting tomorrow.
For fear of overloading on slide shows over the weekend, I did not include the midweek games in the prediction as they are basically a whole new round of games.
Over the weekend, I went four out 10 in terms of correct results.

In the last round there were two shocking upsets involving Villarreal and Real Madrid, and one especially emphatic scoreline involving Barcelona.
It is fair to say the first two results bode well for increased competitiveness in La Liga, though Villarreal looks set to be a major underachiever this season, and Real Madrid's stumble is pretty much a one off at this point.
Nonetheless I have decided to implement some new features in my predictions.
The scorelines have been the most difficult part to predict and, though I have gotten some right, I have been far off in many of instances.
This prediction will be replaced with an analysis of the game of sorts.
Since there is less time between games, these midweek fixtures will only feature the predictions themselves, and the normal slideshow will come back on Thursday.
There should be some good games starting tomorrow with Valencia hosting Barcelona looking like formidable tie.
Hopefully these midweek games will not be as difficult to predict.
So here it goes.
