College Football Rankings: Biggest Snubs in the AP's Week 4 Poll
A new week is upon us, which means the latest college football rankings have been released, and some teams were shafted while others thrived.
The early rankings don't tell us a ton, but with some marquee games having already taken place it's clear to see who the top teams are right now.
Those teams that start slow in their cupcake games should be penalized in the rankings, but that has yet to happen.
There are a lot of games left this season, and in that time some teams will be exposed and others will prove their doubters wrong.
The list that follows is all about those teams snubbed by the recent AP Top 25 Poll.

Michigan State Falls Out
1 of 3The Michigan State Spartans entered Week 3 as the No. 15 team in the country, but with a loss to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish they find themselves unranked.
Sure, the Spartans lost to an unranked team, but the Fighting Irish aren't awful. They rank 26th in the country in total offense, and both of their losses have been very close.
Michigan State struggled on the road, but at 2-1, they're still a better team than some of the bottom-ranked teams. Heck, if TCU is still ranked at 2-1 with a loss to an overrated Baylor team, then the Spartans definitely need to be ranked.
Oregon and Florida State Behind Nebraska
2 of 3The Oregon Ducks and Florida State Seminoles are both 2-1, but those loses came to the top-ranked teams in the country.
The Ducks come in at No. 10 and the Seminoles are at No. 11, and they should both be ahead of the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Yes, the Cornhuskers are 3-0, and that is the main reason they're at No. 9, but they haven't beaten anyone of worth, and in their previous two games against Fresno State and Washington they struggled to jump out early and dominate on offense and defense as expected.
Both Oregon and Florida State have competed very well against their tough opponents, and even though they didn't win the game, they both deserve to still be in the top 10 over the Cornhuskers.
Nebraska has yet to truly look like a top 10 team, and while there is still time to prove they belong, they shouldn't be there now.
LSU at No. 2
3 of 3The LSU Tigers should be the No. 1 team in the country, but that spot still belongs to the Oklahoma Sooners.
Against the Florida State Seminoles, the Sooners did not look like the top team in the country. They were expected to find the end zone early and often, but that didn't happen for this stellar offense.
The Sooners even struggled to control the game once E.J. Manuel went down. The No. 1 team in the country shouldn't allow a backup quarterback to almost beat them.
The Tigers, on the other hand, have looked fantastic so far this season, beating not one, but two ranked opponents. LSU's defense is hands down the most talented in the country, and their offense has done a good job considering they lost their starting quarterback a week before the season.
LSU has proven they are the best team in the country, and since they face the No. 16 West Virginia Mountaineers in Week 4, with a win maybe then they'll get the respect they deserve.
