Why Emmanuel Adebayor Will Lead Tottenham Hotspur to EPL Top 4
Emmanuel Adebayor scored two goals in a 4-0 defeat of Liverpool today.
Adebayor’s production is just what the doctor ordered for Tottenham Hotspur. His addition will help guide Tottenham back to the top four of the English Premier League, resulting in another UEFA Champions League appearance.
Adebayor brings a youthful style of football as a striker. He is great in the air and solid when the ball is on his foot.

He is a younger but still-productive Peter Crouch. He provides a great target for Gareth Bale on crosses and free kicks.
Adebayor has loads of talent; he just needs to work on being concentrated on the game for 90-plus minutes. In the past Adebayor has been questioned about his lack of concentration because he tends to disappear.
He won’t disappear in too many games in 2011-12. His teammates won’t allow him to disappear. Bale will put the ball in the correct spot more times than not, forcing Adebayor to be happy.
If his confidence level is there (and it seems to be there now), Adebayor can be a steal for Hotspur.
They needed a jumpstart after starting the season off so poorly, and maybe they pushed the right buttons with Adebayor.
Tottenham participated in the UEFA Champions League last season. It was great to see their talent at the highest level. It was a place where Bale could really prove he is one of the best players in the world.
They want to get back to that position as soon as possible to keep their bright, young players.
The addition of Adebayor looks as though it is the correct one. He should continue to put the ball in the back of the net with relative consistency.
Newcastle is currently in fourth place in the Premier League. With Arsenal being a complete mess right now, Tottenham has a great chance of sneaking into the top four.
