Maryland Football: Week 3 Uniform Combo: Better or Worse?
The Maryland Terrapins are this year’s team to watch, at least when it comes to what uniform they are wearing. With over 30 uniforms to choose from, the Terps pick a new look each week as they take the field to play some football.
This week against West Virginia they chose a decent black look, but how does it compare with other combinations?
Week 1 Combo
1 of 5The Week 1 uniform combination was tough to beat as it made college football headlines. The uniform was so unique that it attracted many critics that both loved and hated the outlandish gear that the Terps were sporting.
Would this week’s uniform match up?
Week 2 Combo
2 of 5Maryland went with more of a reserved look then a week ago. The mostly black uniform gave the team a sleek look that stood out and made the Mountaineer uniforms look bland. The main difference is that the Terps were not able to win this week.
So What Is Next?
3 of 5The Terps lost this week so it’s time to scrap those uniforms. So what is next? I think it’s time for the Terps to go white in the next outing. It will be a nice change of pace and give the Terps a different look as they continue to mix and match their uniforms throughout the season.
No Yellow Please
4 of 5The Terps will look for a perfect combination to display throughout the year, but I hope and pray that the yellow uniform stays on the shelf for a few more weeks. This gaudy combination is horrific and would be better served on the shelf for a few more weeks.
There are much better combinations to choose from.
Overall: Worse
5 of 5The uniforms on display today against the West Virginia Mountaineers were not as loud as the ones that they wore in Week 1, but overall it was worse.
The Terps lost on the field and overall that is the main goal of the team. Fans may think they looked better in these uniforms, but overall, winning is the only thing that is important.
