College Football Predictions Week 3: 4 QB Destined to Have Epic Games
At this point in the college football season, we know which quarterbacks are good, but that’s not good enough for me.
At this point, I want to know who is great.
I want to know who can lead a team into a big game, be at the helm through all the ups and downs in momentum and still come out on top.
I want to know who will only get better as the pressure increases, and once the fourth quarter comes around, I want to know these guys are at their very best.
There are some very good games scheduled for Week 3, which means we are going to see some incredible quarterback play.
Here are four quarterbacks destined to have epic games.
Landry Jones, Oklahoma
Jones realizes that if OU wants to play in the BCS championship, a win at Florida State is a must.
The Seminoles have been preparing for this game all year, and now it’s Jones’ time to prove why he is the quarterback of the No. 1-ranked team in the country.
I expect that he will be cool under pressure, deadly accurate, and when all is said and done, he will have an epic stat line.
E.J. Manuel, Florida State
The best part about the Oklahoma vs. Florida State game is that we’ll get to see Landry Jones square off against this guy.
E.J. Manuel is a gift from the football Gods to the Seminoles. He is quick, talented and has arguably one of the best arms in the game.
I expect that these two teams are really going to put up a lot of points, and Manuel’s going to be the guy leading the charge for FSU.
Denard Robinson, Michigan
The thing with Denard Robinson is that I don’t expect any of the numbers that he puts up now during the second half of the season.
That being said, this is still his time to shine.
Michigan is playing another cupcake game in Eastern Michigan. Denard should once again prove why he needs to win the September Heisman.
Kirk Cousins, Michigan State
Yes, I've put both Michigan schools on here. The ironic part is that the better team is receiving less attention.
The Spartans are underdogs going into Notre Dame, but I think Cousins will put them on their back and deliver the marquee game of his career.
