College Football Picks Week 3: 3 Air-Tight Spreads Guaranteed to Be Covered

Nothing is worse than looking at a college football spread and realizing that it’s almost too tight to call.

Either both teams are exceptionally close, or somebody is trying to get you in a pinch.

Either way, just because the line is close doesn’t mean you should avoid the bet altogether. Some of the best bets are made on a tight spread, and I can guarantee you that you will end up looking like a genius if you decide to take the risk.

That being said, all I can do is advice you on how I think the game will play out. With that in mind, here are three air-tight spreads guaranteed to be covered.

Auburn Clemson -3

Bet: Clemson

I really think Auburn isn’t as good as their ranking suggests, and the more times I see them play the more solid I feel in that statement.

Clemson is poised for a big game and Auburn is due for a bad one. Some don’t think Clemson should win let alone favored, but I think they will cover.

Penn State -7

Bet: Penn State

The Nittany Lions are coming off a rather disappointing home loss to Alabama, which means they are going to be out for a big win.

Temple is a cute team, but I think Penn State is going to come out with the sole purpose to bounce back big from last week’s blowout in front of their home crowd.

Oklahoma -3.5

Bet: Oklahoma

This is scary play for most bettors, because even though Oklahoma is favored, FSU is at home and is expected to hold up fairly well against the Sooners.

Some are even picking the Seminoles to win, which will draw even more away from picking Oklahoma.

I believe the Sooners will win, though, and even though it may be a close one, I think they will cover near the end.
