Manchester United and Chelsea Collide on September 18 at 11:00 PM ET

The Red Devils and the Blues are prepared to do battle on Sunday afternoon at Old Trafford in what has to be the biggest game of the year so far in the English Premier League.

Manchester United has been absolutely explosive so far this season, as they have tallied 18 goals and conceded just three to this point in the season.

On the other hand, Chelsea can't be as pleased with how the season has gone thus far. Yes, they have won three of four games, but they have had a weak schedule to this point, and have failed to show much in the attacking third.

At this point in the EPL season, it is difficult to envision Chelsea as the better team.

All of the hype in the EPL is surrounding Manchester United and Manchester City at this point, but in the scheme of things it is tough to rule out Chelsea. According to ESPN, Sir Alex Ferguson is approaching this matchup with the right mindset,

"

They will be there at the end of the season, there is no doubt about that. At the moment, of course, the two Manchester teams are enjoying the publicity that comes from the predictions that they are going to be involved in the winning of the league.

In the background lurks Chelsea. They don't need the publicity. They will be enjoying being out of the profile at the moment. It will be a fantastic game. The games between both sides over the last seven years have been very close affairs. There is usually just one goal in it and it will be very tight on Sunday again.

"

It may be a tight game, but the Red Devils should have no problem getting the victory in this one. Offensively, Wayne Rooney has been all but unstoppable over the past few months, and he is bound to tally another goal in this match. The team as a whole has been attacking extremely well, and should be able to penetrate Chelsea's backline.

For Chelsea, Fernando Torres needs to come to life if Chelsea is going to have any shot at coming away with a victory. Torres has struggled since joining the Blues, and they need him to hit peak form in this match.

Chelsea has been able to come away with victories, but heading into Old Trafford is a whole different monster. They have to bring their best effort if they are going to take down the top team in England, and they desperately need Torres to net in this one.

It likely won't happen though, and the Red Devils should coast to a victory in this match.
